[it's been almost a month. he missed this so damn much he can't even put it into words]
[ as though she'd stop him at this point. Falling asleep, curled against each other in exhausted torpor, was all well and good, but there's something to be said about just being able to enjoy being unabashedly affectionate without having to worry about each other's physical states.
Rion only hesitates long enough to slip the card into her pocket, and then she's draping her arms over his shoulders and pressing closer to deepen the kiss almost immediately.
It's nearly overwhelming, just how much she's missed this. How much she wants to stay this close. ]
[. . . it's nice, to be able to hold her like this again. to be able to feel her warmth pressed against his body, curved right against him like two interlocking pieces of a puzzle. to feel her mouth against his, kissing him with everything she's got. he slides his arms around her waist and leans into her to keep her back pressed against the stone of the fighting ring]
[hopefully that isn't too uncomfortable. or hopefully, she's far too distracted by the way he follows her deeper into the kiss without any hesitation whatsoever]
[ It's a little uncomfortable. When she's got Akira's solid warmth pressed tightly against her, it makes the jutting stone of the wall behind her all the more evident in comparison. It's rough, scraping.
But Rion ignores it, because she has more important things to focus on. Akira hadn't been able to feel her before. From the way he's kissing her now, that's obviously no longer an issue, and her hands ease back, just a bit, to clutch at his shoulders, greedily keeping him close.
Even when she finally draws back, breathless and pink-faced, it's only to murmur: ]
[Akira takes a moment to catch his breath, even as the reminder of that promise causes his heart to skip a beat. his own cheeks are painted a nice shade of scarlet, and his glasses hang crooked off of his ears. with a deep inhale, he untangles his arm from Rion's back, only to pinch the frames of his eye wear and push them to the top of his head]
[and then he leans in again, fingertips ghosting against her cheek (warm, soft, so so addicting), to kiss her]
[ It's a good look for him. Red. Glasses shoved on top of his disheveled hair.
But then his fingertips brush against his skin, and her own hands lift, pressing her palms against his cheeks now that he can finally feel the heat from them and the way her fingers trace soft lines over his cheekbones. It's hard to focus on much else beyond the desire to feel him, to let him reaffirm as much as he wants that she's here and she doesn't want to stop kissing him.
Which she's at least demonstrating now, letting her back thunk against the unforgiving wall and tipping her chin up to willingly return to kiss #2. ]
[if this is only kiss number two, then they're absolutely going to be here for a while]
[. . . his hands don't wander, per se. the one on her cheek stays there to cradle the lines of her jaw, perfectly innocent. but the one behind her back shifts so it's resting on her waist instead (because having his arm pinned between her and harsh stone is very uncomfortable, oops), thumb drawing gentle patterns against her hip]
[after a few good, long moments of drinking her in (everything about her, from the way she tastes to her hands on his own face), he eventually pulls back for air. though he doesn't go far at all]

But she seems comfortable with his hands, nuzzling their noses together as one hand drifts down to slip just slightly under his shirt. Only to rest on the skin, of course. ]

[Akira exhales a breath he hadn't realized he was holding, understanding washing over his expression. he squeezes Rion's hand again, because while he totally can't say he's never made out with anyone before (he has, many times, and now is absolutely not the moment to bring that up), he knows what it feels like to be nervous. or to. . . you know. slowly push at boundaries, to discover what is and what isn't okay]
[he smiles, and brushes his thumb against the side of her face, leaning in to steal another kiss. this one is gentle and chaste; a stark difference to their kisses from earlier]

[ It's fine, Rion's already pretty sure he's dated/made out with other people, which... is, honestly, fine. It is what it is. She's not one of the teenagers who believes that a first and passionate love is going to be the kind of love that lasts forever, because-- teens. Really, for all she knows, Akira may decide to go on and date someone else and look fondly back on this one day.
But that's not really a prevalent thought right now. Instead, her focus is on how she wants to pull him back for another kiss, and how relieved she is that he actually does seem to get it and isn't about to just burst out laughing that the idol viewed for being the flirty, coquettish one is the one with the least amount of experience between the two of them. ]
