Kou nods thoughtfully at that, though he doesn't look particularly surprised; he props one hand on his hip, and:]
Good. She's an amazing person, and she deserves someone who will like her for who she really is.
[That's what's important most of all--Rion's happiness isn't really his to meddle in, but he'll meddle anyway if there's any way he can help her after everything she's been through.]
So like--I dunno, if it all works out, make her happy? The Rion that she doesn't show to everyone else, I mean. Obviously I'm going to be right here still anyway, but that seems like the thing I should say here.
