[Eventually, he does go find her. They don't have a lot in the way of supplies right now, but he does dig into a lot of the snacks and food that they were given for the trip and manages to pry out some tea. Nice.

Boiling water takes awhile out here too, which is why it takes him this long to chase her down.

But when he does, it's to gently knock a cup of tea lightly against her shoulder.]

[ Twenty minutes is enough to stop seething, her anger more of a tired simmer than anything. But she doesn't bother to glare when Kou taps her shoulder, instead reaching for the mug in a way more subdued manner than usual. ]

[And so he'll just casually sit next to her, quirking an eyebrow at her. And as per Kou norm, he's just gonna dive right in bluntly.]

[ though she's frowning down at the tea. ]

I know he didn't mean anything by it, but I overreacted before I could really think about it.

I know. He wasn't thinking about what he was saying.

I wasn't either, y'know. Sorry about that.

Sometimes you've gotta overreact to keep us all in line when we do things like that. [So like... yeah, she overreacted, but was it deserved? Also yeah.]

I know. You, especially, stick your foot in your mouth a lot.

[She wouldn't have reacted so intensely if she didn't, he knows.]

I did just kind of punch him in the face. That might've set me back a little.
